Route 66 is a legendary American highway stretching from Chicago to Santa Monica. Cutting through the heart of the United States spanning some 2.400 miles of travel over three time zones. First opened in 1926, today’s journey offers a nostalgic trip through the land, history and people of the United States. While the original road is not fully intact today, it's still possible to drive a large proportion of the historic route and experience its unique charm.
